1. Who we are
Knact (“Knact”, “we”, “us”) is a web-design studio based in Mumbai, India, that designs and hand-builds custom websites. You can reach us on WhatsApp or at atharva@knact.in. By engaging Knact or using this website, you agree to these terms.
2. Our services
We provide custom website design, front-end development, copywriting, and related support. Every project is scoped and agreed in writing (over WhatsApp or email) before work begins. Anything not expressly agreed is out of scope.
3. The free demo
We offer a free, custom demo of your website, typically delivered within 48 hours. The demo is provided at no cost and with no obligation, you are free to walk away. The demo is a preview: it may use placeholder content, is not the final production site, and remains the intellectual property of Knact until you engage us to complete the build and settle the agreed fee. We may decline or delay a demo at our discretion.
4. Quotes & payment
Fees for the full build are quoted per project based on agreed scope. Unless stated otherwise, work begins after an advance and the balance is due before final handover. Prices are in INR and exclusive of any applicable taxes and third-party costs (domains, hosting, paid fonts, stock, plugins).
5. Ownership
On full payment, ownership of the final delivered website and its custom code transfers to you. Third-party components remain under their own licences. Unless you ask us not to, Knact may feature the work in its portfolio and marketing.
6. Timelines & revisions
We work to agreed timelines, but delivery depends on timely content, feedback, and approvals from you. Reasonable revisions within the agreed scope are included; substantial changes may be re-quoted.
7. Liability
We build with care, but we provide our services “as is” and cannot guarantee specific business results or uninterrupted operation of third-party services. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the work in question.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
